Compact and affordable all-in-one laser /copier/fax/scanner
Suitable for your home office or small business. Have had mine for 9 years and it continues to work flawlessly
- Printing -- it squeaks when printing but keeps on spitting out perfect B&W and reasonable grey-scale faithfully
- Scanning -- Variable settings from black & white (takes 3-4 seconds per scan) through 1200x1200 DPI Full-Color is very good, but the higher the resolution the slower the scan. Supposedly can do 2400x2400 but think it only fails because it overwhelms my computer's memory / processing power.
- Faxing -- works great
- Copying -- accurate
- Software -- Installs easily, flawlessly, and configuration/customization is relatively easy
- Higher-capacity laser cartridge lasts long and prints well past the "toner low" message -- much more economical than inkjet.

A good value. Fits my Sony micro cassette recorder, perfectly.

Poor resolution
When I scanned a document to PDF, the image was faint and fuzzy. I adjusted the DPI (dots per inch) and the scan type (Black/White, Greyscale, Color). The resolution improved a little, but not much.
