Delicious foods - life-saving lifestyle plan
I bought this book as a gift for my sister after her husband survived a massive heart attack. My husband had a heart attack as well, five months before that. Before his open heart surgery, my husband ate mostly unhealthy foods. His heart attack motivated him to change his lifestyle and we've found that the South Beach diet is very manageable.
This book offers the full diet, meal plans, and everything from quick-and-easy to gourmet recipes and delicious desserts with no calorie counting. We subscribed to the South Beach Diet website for the first few months in addition to purchasing all of the cookbooks. Variety is necessary to be successful in pursuing this lifestyle. I recommend this book first and suggest the "South Beach Diet Quick & Easy Cookbook" as a companion cookbook.
We have been so successful that neither of us gained weight over the holidays while enjoying most of our traditional foods, prepared with healthy ingredients. I would recommend the South Beach diet to anyone, even those who don't need to lose weight. I believe it's the most comprehensive plan for healthy eating that we have available at this time.

Good quality, reasonable price
When I buy NOW Foods essential oils I know that I will receive a good quality essential oil for a reasonable price. I've been using their lavender oil for years. This time I also tried their Frankincense carterii 20% dilution. It's mixed with jojoba oil and is much less expensive than the pure oil. It's absolutely heavenly!

Huge, comprehensive, vintage dictionary.
The pages of this dictionary are about 8.5 x 11 inches It's at least 3 inches thick with dense small print. The pages have begun to develop a beautiful sepia tone with age.
