Better than you imagine--tune without plugging in!
If you're shopping for a clip-on tuner, shut up, stop, and get this.
The TC Polytune system is simply *amazing," and there is nothing else which comes close. The flexibility, the brightness, the way it's designed, ease of use, everything about it.
I started with TC Polytune as an app on my phone, and that was exceptional, but like any audio tuner it can be affected by ambient sounds and surface vibrations. I considered the Polytune Mini-2 pedal, but decided the clip-on (which has ALL the features of the phone app and pedal) would be best for my needs.
It's easy, fast, bright, easy to understand and gets me tuned up (wait for it) even if my bass isn't plugged in! I can tune up in near-silence and be good to go in moments without disrupting an existing session. I can be tune in silence in under 60 seconds.
Sole caveat: get the white one--this black one disappears in dark environments and gig bags.
Stop looking. Get this. You're welcome.
