Compact unit fits in 22" window with modification. Blows the cold air.
This compact unit fits my sliding (casement) window. It's one of few narrow enough. It's quiet enough, but has a slightly-annoying period rattle related to the compressor. The analog controls seem sturdy. They are a bit counter-intuitive, though, with the high fan and cool under the low. Ding, dong, anyone home? With a SEER rating of 11, I'm apprehensive about seeing my utility bill. But it can't be worse than the portable I relied on last year!
BTW, the min window with is specified as 23". But the accordion side panels can be scrunched up a little tighter to easily fit a 22" window if you cut down the accordion frame by an inch or so.

Stays good after first use for only 48 hours
This product is designed to be mixed ("activated") in the can. It can then used only for the next 48 hours. It may have excellent properties, otherwise, but this obviously limits its general usefulness.

It works
1 of 1 found this helpful AT&T sent me this device as part of its generous replacement program for old G2 devices. The code worked as expected when I inserted a new TracFone SIM card in it.
This listing is a little misleading about sending the code through postal mail. It is simply emailed directly to the buyer.
