Excellent switches even if they are backwards
1 of 1 found this helpful While the switches are backwards from most automotive switches (the LED lights and the switch is ON in the up position instead of the down position), the switches all tested to be in working order and I suspect they'll work very well. They have a nice click/snap when you turn push them and they're not so easy to push that you'll turn the light on when bumping the switch. That was a problem with the switch I replaced with these. Getting out of the truck, we would accidentally bump the switch and turn the fog lights on, draining the battery. These switches are more difficult to turn on by bumping them. Perfect for us! Excellent price too!

Quality Basic Starter Kit
It's a Pi 3 with the power supply, case, and heat sinks. It works great, the case was super easy to put together. The only thing I don't like about the case is that the one corner of the Pi doesn't sit down far enough so sometimes you can't get the microSD card to go in and it sometimes puts a little pressure on the card.
Overall this is an excellent kit, however I did find this kit cheaper elsewhere. The problem for me with the cheaper sites was that the shipping would have been much slower.

Excellent CPU for my HP 6200 based Home Server
While this is an older processor, it is exactly what I needed for my old HP 6200 SFF PC. I run an Open Media Vault & Plex server on this PC and this was one of the CPU's listed that I could upgrade to. With Linux, it was as easy as installing the new CPU, add thermal paste, and the heatsink, power it up and run an update and reboot. The entire process including moving the PC from the shelf to the other room and back took 45 minutes.
This CPU is a major upgrade from the i3 that I was running my server on. I also run a PhotoPrism server on this PC and since the upgrade, importing and indexing the photos I upload is much faster and that was the main reason I upgrade the CPU.
Overall the CPU performs well and is much faster than the old i3 that was in the PC. It was also about $20 cheaper than the i7-2600 that I could have upgraded to. Benchmarks show that the i7 only has about a 3% increase in performance over this i5, so it didn't make sense to me to spend $20 more for another 3% performance increase.
