Fits older Supraphonics, with a little work
Purchased this to replace the infamous P85 on a ‘71 Supra LM400. Huge upgrade from the stamped-steel original and totally worth the fifty bucks. Solid build, smooth action, and a much-improved adjustment knob. Those soft metal screws have been replaced with cast drum key nuts. Fitting the new throw off only required a little enlargement of the shell’s mount holes. The width of the butt plate’s mounts did not match the shell’s, but the plate has two small untapped holes that do. Tap the holes for 8-32, buy a few 3/8” pan head screws and you’re done. I wanted to use the rubber washers that insulate the plate from the outside of the shell, so I had to drill holes in those as well. Use the plastic spacers that come with the P88 kit for the inside of the shell.

Mind blown
Based on reviews and the hype, I figured it was going to be pretty cool, but I had no idea how inspiring it would be. It makes you want to play. The band mates love it. Have had no issues with live gigs, as some have reported.
