Mini LCD Digital Protractor Angle Finder Level Inclinometer Magnetic 0~360°

Unreliable. Output drifts by up to 0.6 degrees

I'm disappointed with this item, as its readings are unreliable. For example, I was using the relative angle measurement. I rested the meter on a particular spot on a surface and zeroed it. Then moved it, measured some other angle, and then back to the same spot on the previous surface. Expecting a reading equal to zero, or a maximum deviation of the quoted precision (0.1 degrees), I would get readings of 0.3 to 0.5 degrees. Furthermore: I set it on a stationary surface, zeroed the angle, and then left it there without moving the meter. The readings started drifting by up to 0.6 degrees! I can assure you I don't live in a boat... It's a pity because, if it were stable, it'd be a very nifty and useful piece of kit. I'm not sure whether I got a dud or if this is what you can expect from this model.

Great bit of kit.

Easy to use, and excellent result. I used my corded drill with it, for high torque. Just make sure you use the right hole size or the pin won't come out.

Good quality instrument

This is a good quality item. It looked good on the picture, so I thought I'd give it a go. It took a while to come from China, but it was worth the wait. It arrived in a plastic case, inside a plastic sleeve, properly greased to prevent rust. It is made of good quality steel. It feels heavy and sturdy, it's well finished, and it works like a treat! I am pleasantly surprised.
