Heartfelt animation
As a 31 year old female I found this movie quite moving - a well-executed storyline that takes me back to my youth. The characters are believable and the emotions they exude are sincere. The animation is richly detailed -- as one might come to expect from a Studio Ghibli film. For anyone hoping to get swept away, to anyone who is young at heart, I highly recommend adding this to your collection. I'll be watching this for years to come.

Could've been better. Way better.
Although this concert is over a decade old, the production is a bit on the rough/unimpressive side. Ayumi is a great performer, but this doesn't even begin to come close to her Miss Understood concert. There is way too much behind-the-scenes/making-of footage thrown in. Not a bad deal for the price, but I expected this to be the concert from start to finish.
