Vidal Sassoon Cherry Almond Classic Clean Shampoo, 12.9 Fluid Ounce

Not as expected & highly disappointed

I bought the Shampoo and Conditioner without ever having smelled it before. I just LOVE almond scent, & I like cherry scent, so I was hoping it was similar to the wonderful almond shampoo that my hairdresser uses. I am sooooo disappointed, especially having paid $12.95 each. The product "works" okay, nothing spectacular (nothing more than what a $5 bottle of shampoo would do), but it smells NOTHING like Almond...or Cherry. In fact, it smells like old shampoo & conditioner. You get a very, very slight scent of cherry almond when you first open it up & sniff the bottle, but once you put it on your hair, it does not have anything even close to an almond scent. I kept both, and chalked it up to a dumb mistake, but I will not do that again. I certainly would not recommend this product if you are looking for that cherry/almond scent or even a great shampoo/conditioner (because it is neither). I wish that I had listened to some of the other "bad" reviews when they had the same issue with the scent.

Great coverage, blends easily

Great coverage, blends easily. Since it is next to impossible to find this product in Medium (which I always used), I got the medium/deep, and mixed it with "Light" color of the same product. Would definitely recommend if you just need a little coverage to hide blemishes or dark spots.

Does a good job on my hair!

Have only had this a couple weeks, but so far I love it! Gives my short hair a nice lift that my flat iron could not do. Silicone brush part is soft and does not get hot, so should solve getting burnt now and then like I did with my curling or flat irons. Obviously, if you touch the metal part below the silicone brush, it is hot, but thankfully that won't easily happen with this curling iron. It also doesn't seem to do as much damage to your hair as a flat iron does. Wish I would have bought a 3/4" instead of a 1", but that is not an issue with how good this product works....a smaller barrel would just work a bit easier to get my short hair around it. The silicone brush does certainly help in grabbing and holding onto my hair and giving it a nice curl or lift. Great price & product, and so glad that I made the purchase!
