Update of a classic
This book was originally published in 1975 and this 2006 edition updates the original for improvements in tying material and technique during the ensuing 30 years and what Sylvester Nemes calls tiny soft hackles. If you want to prefect your skill in tying and fishing soft hackle flies this book is an excellent resource.
Based on my initial review the tying instructions in the book are at the intermediate level and not for a totally inexperienced tyier.

Substitute for Deet
1 of 1 found this helpful I am allergic to deet so I have tried a number of substitute product since I seem to be a bug magnet. This is the most effective product I have found to repel insects.
