120 VAC to 24 VAC transformer great for control wiring.
Provides 24 VAC does not get hot with multiple HVAC dampers active. I use them for all my @$ VAC control wiring and have never had a problem. .

Everything except sound worked.
I have many of there. This particular one came with sound not working. Not that big of a deal for me, but I would have expected the board to have been completely tested before putting it up for sale.

Why I still run AMD Opteron 290 processors
04/13/2010 -- OK, we all know this procesor is "old bones", but it is rock solid. I Have a pair of these running non-stop for the past four years and are still in operation. Needed to build a redundant backup system so I needed another pair. I was able to purchase these processors for a fraction of what they cost several years ago.
In my world, (and probably yours too), cash is still king.
AMD has come a long way with their newer Opteron processors, I love the new design and recommend them, but for this application the 290 does quite well. Besides, the newer Opterons are expensive (as are the motherboards they run on) and we felt no need to upgrade to them. If cost was not a consideration, I would run the newer processors and motherboards. If you need something fast and reliable, and are able to find a good motherboard, this is a very good option to consider. (I am using SuperMicro H8DCI motherboards, and considering they are somewhat obsolete, they are still expensive to buy).
Enjoy...
