auna 600w hi-fi power amplifier
On opening the box, I was happy. Nice looking piece of equipment. Removing it from the box my first thought was how light the unit was compared to the NAD amplifier I'm replacing. The NAD weighing close to a breeze block. The Auna 600w weighing much the same as the cardboard box it arrived in.
Speakers were connected & sound was heard. Albeit not untill half way up the volume dial. I had to turn the dial 180 degrees before any sound was heard. I checked the connections again & all was good.
We listened to a few CDs & then it cut out & does not produce any sound at all. So I'm now back to square 1 without an amp!!! Plus.... The remote control is rubbish ( in my opinion).
I would strongly advice anyone not to purchase this unit & seek a reputable known local hi-fi dealer. & Buy a unit that has a reputation for excellence.
