A Fine and Important Natural History Treatise
I very much enjoyed reading this book, as I believe most people who are infatuated with hummingbirds would be, since this is a pretty early "study" of the creatures themselves, as well as the efforts, discussed by Jardine, of some notable individuals who were involved in their study up to the time of this volume's publication. The book therefore gives interesting historical and natural history perspectives that would otherwise be missed in more current renderings. But this book doesn't cover both of Jardine's hummingbird volumes, only the second one. I would very much like to see the first one as well....

Very meaty sardines and great taste! This has to be one of the best sardine varieties I've ever eaten.
