1 of 1 found this helpful Had been very happy with my 2002 FXDX. But love to tinker. Previously installed HSR42 carb, slightly more aggressive, gear driven cams and mild head works.
Fitted the new ignition system and set off for a test ride. Within 100 yards I knew I had made the right choice. I was nearly thrown off the back of the bike the way it took off. What a difference! Low to mid range power delivery is phenomenal. The OEM ignition system had definitely been preventing the engine achieving its full potential.
