Everything needed to change the timing belt
This is the second time I bought these tools, this being for another Saturn. I sold the first one after the job was done.
These are all the specialty tools need to do a timing belt job on a 2002 Saturn LW300, 6 cyl.
The 4 cyl Saturn has a timing chain, so you don't need these..
Wish I could send a picture, but suffice to say, all of the tools in this kit do work for this job and are needed. The most important tools are the cam locks, the 1/2" drive socket to turn over the crank by hand (better eat your wheaties!), and the water pump/crankshaft alignment tool.
I reckon these tools would last for dozens of timing belt installations, very well made, show none to little wear after this job.
Best to change the water pump, drain the cooling system totally and refill afterwards with fresh coolant. Do NOT use garden hose water! Very corrosive and the water pump won't last till the next belt change. Always use 50/50 premix antifreeze or use full strength diluted with distilled water-also good for the vehicle battery.
Use a 2 or 3 ton car jack under the motor with a piece of 2x6 wood so you don't harm or break the oilpan. It is suggested to use a special Saturn motor lift tool $$$$$ but is not necessary if the vehicle is properly supported up on jackstands that don't wobble.
Can't speak for a Saab motor, but this is perfect for the Saturn V6. Get yourself a 15mm socket before tearing into this job. SAE star sockets won't work.
Expect to take 6-12 hours if you've never done this, depending on your skill level and assuming you have ALL the tools you need besides this one. This also accounts for replacing the water pump and cleaning all the grease off all the parts that get reinstalled.
Save $400+ on labor with these tools and your tools and a jack.

Good protection for cheap.
1 of 1 found this helpful Very sturdy iPad leather cover. May not be real leather, but smells and grips like it. Do not get if you want something thin and light. DO get if you want a nice feeling, non plastic or silicone cover. Stand feature works well. Buttons are easily accessed. The entire iPad is enclosed, so if it falls, it has some corner protection. Looks like a small book closed. Appears to be very well made for its cost.

Sturdy footswitch
1 of 1 found this helpful The 632S Clipper foot switch is a little workhorse. It is built very well in what looks like a cast aluminum body and has real heft to it. There is a solid pin through design that keeps the pedal attached to the body. On the bottom is a thin steel plate that offers a tight but not waterproof seal.
The switch itself is very heavy duty and offers momentary Normally closed or Normally open contacts with big screws. Long lasting switch, no junk here.
This is built like old-school American products used to be, overkill (products that last a lifetime). Just replace the cord every few years if rubber, as they deteriorate.
We use it in a TV station for timing segments, so it's used for low current application and gets MASHED hundreds of times a day. It could possibly be used for an audio signal as the entire unit offers good shielding.
It is wise to oil the pin once a year, it will extend the life of the unit.
The switch is heavy duty enough to run a small motor, like a sewing machine or a small 1/4 or 1/3 HP motor in a drill press.
They typically last a few years the way we use them. If it were used in a home environment, it would last many, many years providing it is not sitting on a damp floor.
