Great Book!

This is a great book about the making of The Wizard of Oz. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is interested in the movie. Ms. Harmetz and John Fricke are the most informative and researched authors on this subject.

Good News

First thought of as a vehicle for Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney, Peter Lawford and June Allyson ended up in the leading roles of this college musical. The songs are good and the plot is better than usual in this Arthur Freed creation. I highly recommend it. It's a feel good musical from 1948 and in color! I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the old M-G-M musical format.
