Walthers 100-ton ASF Rolling Bearing Trucks HO Scale
The Walthers version trucks seem to be the improved versions of the Life Like Proto series trucks. The free rolling metal wheels and rigid trucks are within alignment with no axle bending. The standard 2-56 type screw opening works well with 2-56 screws. The details are good and the molding look is crisp and readable. The springs are set to empty or light weight as that is the standard of all plastic trucks. No body makes trucks with the truck springs set in the loaded position. Overall, the trucks are a good and affordable replacement for standard kit trucks as an upgrade. If weathering and painting them, keeping the wheels that contact the rails and the points that hold inside the side frames is a must to keep the trucks as rolling free under operations.

BLMA HO Scale PODS #4115
0 of 1 found this helpful The Portable On Demand Storage or PODS has become the most recognizable container in the nation. Its advertising has helped boost it fame. The BLMA HO model establishes this fact in model railroading. The print is crisp and very readable without magnifying. The colors and logo are exactly as the real thing. Scale demensions are 15.75 to 16 feet long, which is accurate to their largest PODS for a 3-4 bedroom Other sizes include a 12 foot and a 7 foot unit, but are not yet available in scale sizes. The real issue with this exact model is that BLMA did not include the floor for the bottom of their product. Without a floor, the model seems very light and fragile. The PODS could be slightly heavier as to not feel so toy like. Overall from my scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best and 1 the worst, I rate this model an 8.5. It would add great detail to any HO scene as along as it is not handled too much or place where it could be interfered with.
