SEGA GAME GEAR; Powerful then, Powerful Now
4 of 5 found this helpful If you want to start collecting a vintage system at an affordable price, then the Sega game gear is the one to buy. Even better you can still purchase some of the games still brand new and also very affordable. I also noticed the games graphics got better near its end (Example: Play Sonic 1 and 2 and then play Sonic Drift or Chaos). The only bad side is it's hard to find a really mint system although you can take care of the scratched up screen with a replacement screen, easily found on eBay, but other issues are the contrast, no sound, sound only thru headphones and of course the dreaded missing battery covers. Affordability and great game selection will keep this system in demand for quite some time!!
