But Haynes... seriously... phonebook paper and BW pictures? 2017 is here.. Cover is so 70's and you could do better with no effort. And why do I have to buy a book? Something online would be far much better for all.

BvsB is top.

I use this for paragliding. I damage 1 radio every 2 years, so this is the ultimate cheap and reliable radio. When testing this with proper gear it is clearly not the best ham, but for practical use it does the job well.
