Backup TV camera and monitor
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an interesting product. The clarity and color is great. I was pleasantly surprised. While the advertised use is for backup at night, I wanted to take it a bit further. First, the performance as a backup viewer at night is excellent.
Using it in daylight as a backup viewer is hampered by sunlight washing out the screen display. The mirror which is usable when athe display is not active conflicts with the display and makes both functions a mess. This possibly could be corrected by providing a means to increase the display video gain.
The mirror itself is nice, large, and works well. The unit is a beast to install over the existing mirror but once in place it does not slip. Its weight does gradually change the mirror alignment. But the location is the ONLY place to put the display that doesn't interfere with or distract viewing while driving.
The wireless option is a must for using the mirror over the existing rear view mirror. Even then, getting power to the unit is a challenge, depending on your specific car.
All in all, a good unit. Make sure the camera has 170 degree coverage.

Good value memory
The memory updated two HP laptops to 16gb each. Performance improved significant.

A poor investment
Within two weeks all displays except the time have disappeared. The information is no longer send to my Iphone. Bad investment, not even with the $19 I spent.
