1 of 1 found this helpful This Petty Super Bird Is the best piece of memorabilia I have ever owned! Not commonly known unless you know much about NASCAR, this vehicle driven by Richard Petty broke the 200 mph speed barrier for the first time in NASCAR history, and it wasn’t long before other teams were driving the same car and the alternate car, the Dodge Daytona!! It wasn’t long before Ford and General Motors cried like babies because they had no answer for this unbelievable vehicle, so NASCAR caved and restricted many of the features on this car and they banned the 426 Hemi! Sadly NASCAR has become a sport where it basically boils down to who’s driving and not what they’re driving. Also who would’ve ever thought that Mopar, arguably the BEST, would not be in NASCAR and would be replaced by a foreign car company named Toyota?! Anyways, I have the car with me each Sunday when I do watch NASCAR, it brings back great memories, it’s an excellent condition, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!!
