A Blast from the Past
This CD is a walk back into the 1960's and that style of Latin Pop music. Eydie Gorme, a nice Jewish girl from the Bronx, recorded this album with Trio Los Panchos who were one of the most famous Latin American musical acts of that time. I can remember my mother listening to this album over and over again. Definitely worth the price!

Audrey Tautou would have made Coco Chanel proud
1 of 1 found this helpful I would have liked this movie just because Audrey Tautou is in it, but it was well written and the period accurate portrayal of Coco Chanel's life in a time when Men were Men, and Women were Sex objects when desired, or mere Scenery when not, was spot on. Some of Audrey Tautou's best acting so far.
Definitely for Mature audiences, not one for the church ladies.

Intro to Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar 101
This recording is a great introduction to various styles of slack key guitar playing for people who are unfamiliar with the style. But, it's also a great compilation of slack key masters that I tend to leave in the CD changer in my car. Keola Beamer, Sonny Chillingworth, Ray Kane are just a few of the famous artists who have songs featured on this CD. There is also a Part 2 Hawaiian Slack Key CD available that's just as good as this CD, so be sure and look for it if you like this one.
