Howard Products BBC012 Butcher Block Conditioner Oil 12 Ounce Bottle (133mL)

Great stuff!

I installed butcher block countertops on my kitchen island and could never oil them enough. Straight butcher block oil soaked in so fast, within a few days the wood looked terrible again. After following a custom cutting board maker on Instagram, I learned he sold a product with wax in it. So I found the Howard’s product and bought some. Stuff is a game changer! With one coat, it lasts probably 2 months compared to only a few days. So worth it. AND you use far less than oil because you don’t have to do it nearly as often. Only downside is everything stays oily/waxy on the surface for awhile, so you have to pay attention what you set on it for a week or so.

Great snowshoes

The Tubbs Flex VRT is an awesome snowshoe. They’re super aggressive which works great for steep climbs/descents like you’ll find in peak bagging or mountaineering situations. The fact that they’re flexible takes a lot of the shock load out of situations where you find yourself on rocks/roots/boulders in situations mentioned above. The binding is super quick and easy, far superior to the previous system like on my Flex ALPS. Doesn’t loosen up and is quicker to get in/out of. I can’t recommend these enough to people.
