Bathroom Fan Motor
Heavy duty motor, metal squirrel cage might be slightly less gauge than the original as some have noted, but certainly not an issue. Some have noted it is noisy, but I've had 3 originals in two houses since the 1970s and this one sounds exactly the same as the originals. Note that the squirrel cage comes unattached and requires an allen wrench to attach the squirrel cage to the motor. My shipment didn't supply it so you will need your own. Not a problem for me. The spacing between the squirrel cage fan blades is ever so slightly less than the original. The allen wrench has to go through this spacing to tighten the set screw when attaching to the motor. There is no wiggle room for the allen wrench like there was in the original. It has to align perfectly with the set screw. I bought 3 and have installed two. One aligned perfectly. The other one didn't, the allen wrench wouldn't go straight in to the set screw, off maybe 1/16 of an inch. It still went in though and it tightened at a slight angle. I was originally torn between buying an OEM from this same company at more than double the price. I'm really glad that I didn't spend the extra money now! This is everything I was hoping for.
