Great pool, be ready to spend more
3 of 4 found this helpful Hello. I bought this pool at the beginning of the COVID outbreak so my kids could have a cool summer.
Overall the pool is very well made. But a few important notes.
1 BE PREPARED TO SPEND MORE MONEY. After buying the pool kit I had to buy an upgraded sand filter because the one it comes with is too small to really move the water around and keep it clean. Upgraded to the 2800 GPH ($400). Also had to buy the filter sand ($40), the salt water filter to clean the water instead of just filter out particulates($400). Had to buy the salt to convert to a salt water pool($40)Then had to buy a pool vacuum($100), a hand pool skimmer ($30)and plan to buy a skimmer basket and wall squeegee as well. Just know the pool is only the beginning on your cost.
2. Everyone says it but I will just re-enforce, you need to prepare the ground. You want the pool as level as possible. Don’t add dirt to the low area, you will need to dig out the dirt from the high area. Any added dirt will settle lower than you an want. I added a 1inch layer of sand to make it a little nicer on your feet. Also use a ground cover which comes with this kit.
3. Work out where you are going to plug the filter in. The filter will need to run for at least 8 hours per day I run mine for 12. Plan for the cords because you don’t want to unplug it when no
