Does not lock correctly

These batteries do not lock into the 1D/1DS bodies correctly, the locking mechanism does not retract and "snap" like the genuine Canon's do. Thankfully I had old Canon batteries and I was able to swap out the locking covers. However if you do not have old batteries, you will be dead in the water with useless batteries!

Good build quality but useless

I have tried this adapter on two of my FD lens on my EOS body, BOTH are not able to focus at all. One big blur. Mind you, I use these two FD lens on my fuji system with adapters all the time. Waste of time and money, I do not recommend.
