1/2" Quick Tach Attachment Mount Plate Heavy Duty bobcat Loader

Nice heavy plate with a few issues.
This thing is the real deal. True 1/2 inch plate throughout. There has been no bending or deflection while using it on a 1000lb custom build land plane. There are two issues I have with it. First, the steel is so thick that, when the lower portion is bent, the openings for the quick attach wedges is a little small and needed to be opened up a bit. The second issue is with the welds across the top bar. Although strong, they are ugly and inconsistent. Overall, one heck of a plate.

Cheap plasma cutter with lots of power.
I purchased this because I had a project that required around 100ft of cutting in 1/2" plate steel. This machine is rated for 1/2" clean cut in steel, but I found it to be lacking. When everything is perfect, it does cut it, but leaves tons of dross that makes the parts stick together. I think it would be a phenomenal machine for 3/8"and under. Consumables wear very quickly. I went through 4 sets on my project. Also, the wire standoffs are garbage. The second molten steel hits them, they melt in half. I attached a 1 1/4" hose clamp around the standoff, where it attached to the ceramic. This helped tremendously. For the last 15 years, I have used my Lincoln Pro-cut 25. This machine is virtually the same size albeit with much shorter torch and ground leads. I will say that the Lotos has a better pilot arc and does cut better all while using cheaper consumables. Ultimately, it works well but is overrated in capability. I wish I would have spent the extra money and purchased an 80 amp machine.

Works well. Nice metal vent. Flanges are thick. Hub fits and welds well.
