Fits Hayward Pro Series S244T filter!
I knew when we started seeing sand in the pool that the lateral assembly was broken since it has happened before but I couldn't find the info from when we ordered it to be sure we got he right one again. There are several options out there and more than one stated it would work with our filter but had different model numbers so I knew that was not correct. Went to Hayward's site and found the correct part number came back here and ordered it. Cleaning out the filter is of course a pain (and messy), but once done this fit perfectly. Put new sand in and filled up the filter with water, closed everything back up and no more sand in the pool! One note of caution if you've never had to replace one before; be sure to get the assembly exactly centered before you add too much new sand or you Will have problems closing the filter back up if you can at all without damaging the center pipe.
