Versatile, easy to use, consistent results
I no longer have to mess with seamless paper or trying to shoot into the corner of a cardboard box,. The sides of this device curve around so there are no distracting corners, and the translucent material diffuses the light, eliminating shadows. I also like the fact that I can flip it around to use the longer side to photograph taller objects.

Not Good for Liquids
The Granite Ware 34 quart stock pot I bought appeared to have some flaws that rendered it useless to me as a dyepot, which requires a nonreactive container. The bare metal is exposed on the inside and outside in the same place at the bottom edge, making it vulnerable to rust which may eventually create a breach that could leak. I would be wary of using it to prepare soups or stock, as well, not knowing if the exposed metal would contaminate liquids containing tomatoes or other acidic food.
ON THE PLUS SIDE, the company immediately refunded the cost and didn't require me to return it. I have donated it to our local food kitchen to store potatoes or other dry foodstuff.
