Mostly very quiet
A good replacement for the OEM fan. It's mostly very quiet, but a low whirring sound can be heard when there are no other sounds in the room (late at night, mostly). Very similar sound profile to the original fan.
The only unknown is longevity, but so far so good. I installed it with just the two top screws to facilitate any future replacements.

Still one of the best
I've had this remote for many years and recently purchased a second one for another TV setup. The remote fits my hands perfectly and it's very easy to learn the layout of the buttons and to locate individual buttons without looking at the remote. And there's always the "glow" button if you need lighted buttons. The buttons have excellent tactile feedback, and the IR signal is strong. The remote is easy to program with the desktop software.
The only negative is one can get tripped up with the "PIC" and "SOUND" buttons if pressed my mistake. Doing so changes many button functions and can be tricky getting back to the desired activity.
But overall, this has been my favorite remote for a long time.

Exact fit replacement.
Replaced the original spark module for a Viking range. Installation was easy, but needed to observe the reversal in the order of connections. Ignition works perfectly now, usually igniting on the first spark.
