Just what I hoped for
I've been looking for some of the old family shows that I'd feel comfortable showing my children and this fit the bill.

Kit's Story Collection
1 of 1 found this helpful This beautiful book was a great buy. I was only disappointed to find that the "Peek into the Past" included in the paperback versions was not included in the Story Collection. This section tells what life was like during The Great Depression in a non-fiction way, helping the reader better understand the circumstances in which Kit lived.

Josefina's Story Collection
This year we decided to use the American Girl series for our daughter's history lessons. Josefina was the first girl she chose to study. The book itself is beautiful and has a ribbon bookmark included. I was disappointed to find that the historical information found in the back of the paperback sets was not included. So for someone not interested in the "Peek into the Past" information, the collection is great, expecially for the price you can find it on eBay; but from now on I'll buy the book sets instead.
