Dickens's own theme, purpose and writing style are continued in Lovitt's enjoyable story!
I have read 5 "sequels" to "A Christmas Carol". Lovitt's creative version continues Dickens's themes of the need for social reform in Parliament and the neglect of important family ties. The familiar characters of Fred and Cratchit accompany an older, penniless Scrooge and the same ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet To Come to change England and rescue Marley's spirit.

Trump's Carol is hilarious, sarcastic humor, creatively written, reminiscent of the original Dickens.
I bought "Trump's Christmas Carol" because I collect film and TV, sequels and prequels of Charles Dickens's novella of 1843. THIS version is hilarious and the British author paraphrases the wording of Dickens in a very creative way to show how shallow and conceited Trump really is/was. Written in 2017, the author only had one year of presidential events to use for his "Carol".
The reader must have some knowledge of the original novella and the past American political figures, because NIXON, CLINTON and OBAMA are characters, and a few others from the past.
Finally, I bought a SECOND copy of this book (as a gift); it turned out to be a FIRST edition with colorful end-papers, just as the original 1843 edition was offered to the public. see photos.

The Zinwell Remote Control is absolutely necessary to use the converter box!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have 3 different digital converter boxes in my home. I never had a remote control to judge the ZINWELL until now, and I can see that it has better features than my RCA or my DSconverter.
I often see ZINWELL boxes at garage sales for $1.00 but the remote is always missing. YOU cannot use the box without a remote!
