Lego Train is Pretty Cool
2 of 2 found this helpful Lego's train set is a wonderful set for children or adults to have. The multiple speeds for the train, the different directions and the ease in which the train runs on the tracks makes it quite a good buy for the price.
Con #1 is the amount of batteries required, and the remote itself. Inside the first train (which you have to take it apart slightly to get to the battery compartment) it holds 6 AAA batteries. The remote control takes 3 AAA batteries. I can see this getting quite expensive.
Con #2 is the remote as it isn't the easiest to figure out which knob does what. The book lacks specific directions so it is a trial-and-error type deal. This was hard for my 7 year old who became frustrated with it at first.
Once we got it, it was a lot of fun. He plays with it all the time and it is easy to take the tracks down and go mobile with it too. Overall I recommend it!
