Amazing quality for the price!
Just received this. Although I haven't fitted it to my motorbike, I have to say that on initial inspection the quality looks second to none!
It looks really well made and has plenty of fittings included. It's a nice solidly made item that looks as though it should last. It's quite stylish and I think it's going to look absolutely great when fitted, and not like some after-market item. As it's going to be mounted on a motorbike, and therefore visible, I shall probably substitute the clear tube supplied for a smart black braided item.
If this catch can performs as well as it looks then I'll be thrilled.
Amazing quality for £16.00GBP!!!
Excellent quality LF Harris pushrod tubes - far superior to the alloy versions
I bought this after suffering numerous and disastrous attempts trying to fit a set of so called 'top quality' CNC machined alloy pushrod tubes (also purchased on ebay). I found the internal part of the alloy ones weren't machined out enough causing the cam followers and/or pushrod ends to bind on the inside of the alloy pushrod tube (see image). This prevented the valves from closing fully. What is more, the alloy ones were fractionally too long resulting in the bottom seal (the one that goes behind the 'wedding band') from being squeezed out. These chromed steel pushrod tubes are made by LF Harris and worked perfectly first time. Avoid the alloy ones. They might look good but the quality is questionable. I was so impressed with the quality of these LF Harris items that I will use this type on my next build when the time comes.
I have attached a couple of images. One shows the marks caused by the binding. The other shows the difference in height between the inferior alloy type and an original 1970's pushrod tube. (I had already fitted the LF Harris type before I took this photo, but it's just to give an idea).

Screwdriver Adjusts Small Jet On Briggs And Stratton Carburettor 4.8mm Blade
May 26, 2021
Cheap and nasty. Metal shaft and tip of screwdriver far too soft to do job. Avoid.
The metal is so soft the tip of the screwdriver was totally bent by a brass carburettor jet, rendering the screwdriver useless. Considering brass is far softer than steel then this should never happen. The screwdriver should be made of hardened steel.
I would not recommend this product.
