Mini Cooper Center Arm Rest Armrest With Storage Accessory 2007-2013 Genuine OEM

Every MINI should have one of these!

This is an accessory that should have been made standard on all MINIs. It is quite expensive for what it is but designed specifically for the 2nd gen cars. There isn't much to it and installation is pretty straightforward. You can find videos that explain the process on YouTube. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Interesting concept, but not sure it's for everybody.

The concept is good but there are some flaws if you plan on using it as your daily alarm. First of all, this lamp lacks many features you can find in much cheaper products. There is no back-up battery. You can't schedule alarms for weekdays only. You can't connect an external audio source to it. The various buttons and controls are placed on top and on each side of the lamp making it a bit difficult to figure out. It's not very intuitive and I have found it a bit frustrating to use. It is a good quality product that is nicely put together. It gives you the feeling it will last a while. Buy this lamp primarily for the "sunset/sunrise" effect otherwise you may be disappointed. We've been experimenting with the various timers to see if we can get an optimal schedule for our needs. I can see this as being very useful to some folks and a complete waste of money to others. I am not entirely sold on the concept but willing to give it more time. I don't mind waking up to the light, however I am a really sound sleeper and it has failed to wake me up on a couple of occasions. At least there is an audio alarm option with nature sounds, and my dog always wakes up as soon as the light comes on. My smartphone did a better job as an alarm clock but I was looking for something to help me sleep better so that's why I am willing to put up with its shortcomings. Your mileage may vary...
