Lightweight with great features
This ring flash has a good build quality lighter than its Canon counter part still a good solid ring flash. Still on the topic of weight the ring flash itself and the mounting ring have definitely less weight than the Canon this is a plus as I have it mounted on a Canon 100mm F2.8 macro lens. The actual flash unit sits more vertical than the Canon which to me helps with the overall balance of the camera and flash as a unit. With "our" macro photography it is necessary to one hand hold the camera while holding an appliance in the other so weight and balance is a critical issue.
Also there are a couple features with this ring flash that our Canon flash units don't. First is an accessory mounting thread on the side of the flash unit although it doesn't appear to be a standard 1/4-20 thread size I'll modify that to accept an optical flash trigger. The other is an easy access to manual control so the flash can be used as a fill, hair or background light off camera.
One final thing I'd like to mention is I can buy five (5) of these to one Canon so if you are just starting into Macro photography I'd suggest you look into this flash. The money you save can be put into some lenses.

This is a great product best value for the dollars spent
I bought this version of Light Room because it works with my older computer operating system.
Light Room 4 I found the learning curve a bit steep, mostly in understanding the "catalogues". Once past this catalogue issue the program became intuitive.
I like Light Room 4 for working in conjunction and enhancing the PhotoShop programming I'm using. It also works well linking studio cameras directly to the computer, for this function alone it's worth the price.

Super thin to the point of being to thin
This is the most economical IR filter I've ever purchase (to date of this review) I have not done extensive testing with this IR filter. I've basically installed it on my lens made the necessary adjustments to the exposure and made the shot. Due to the many variations in times, film type, chemical processing and scanning I have no way of faulting the optics of this IR filter. I will say that my image results or good for 20x30" print from a 35mm negative, that's gotta say something. The only peeve I have is that the filter ring is so thin it makes it difficult to screw onto my lens or screw it onto my lens and then add the rubber hood. Just a little fiddly but I know why Polaroid did this and that is to prevent vegetating, I'll take the lesser of these two evils.
