SOME GREAT GET HEAT FAST!
As advertised and well-constructed! Shipping fast! The Dayton is much more than the standard electric portable heater. With its various settings for force air and convection heating this heater has it covered from low (convection-no fan) to high (force air-fan on) heating and everything in between. Set-up is no-nonsense; heavy duty cord-3 prong connection, after briefing yourself with enclosed instructions, plug it in and you're warming up in no time. I tried all the various settings just after receiving my heater, very impressed to say the least! In convection mode (not engaging the fan) the radiant heat output was comfortable and pleasant. After going through the various settings to familiarize myself I then placed it at its highest setting to take the chill off and found on a number of occasions I was soon running it at a lower setting as it quickly brought the temperature up nicely. Currently I have it placed in my kitchen approx. 15' X 20', setting about 2ft from me, set on convection mode (low) with right dial set in centre, very comfortable. Currently the wind is howling, temp outside @ 37*F, toasty warm inside. Long review here, felt it worthwhile on a great electric heater for a room, den, drafty area needing some get heat fast. I'd say it's too small for a garage overall although an immediate work area space in your garage with it setting at a safe distance it will keep your toes warm and the chill out of your body! This is a well-constructed electric convection/force air heater at an affordable price, you won't be disappointed!
