Excellent Boss noise suppression effect unit. Adjustable threshold for sensitivity and decay length of feedback allowance, plus a third dial to choose between step-to-toggle, and permanently on/toggle killswitch. IO and also SendReturn. The Boss quality you know, trust and can rely on. Fantastic pedal for live and studio use.

My favourite (expensive) effect pedal

This is the best distortion/fuzz/OD fx stomp I've ever owned, and like most guitarists I've owned many. It sounds bloody fantastic, has an incredible range of tweak options for styling to preference and genre. Although best used for stoner, sludge, metal, rock and grungy styles of music, it's potential isn't limited like most fuzz fx. Is it expensive for what you're getting? Most definitely. Is it worth it if you can justify the purchase? Again, a big Yes. The build of the pedal is one of the most solid and secure, yet light to pick up. This is indeed a "boutique" effect I guess, it has germanium and silicon transistors which can be set with the 3 way toggle switch. The middle selection is a boost effect, possibly the two together. So, I guess to some people this is an expensive buy, but I really think it's worth every cent compared to the cost of other big name boutique fx. Great buy, awesome unit.
