Did not remove mineral scale buildup.

Product did nothing about mineral scale buildup. Vinegar and a pumice stone worked much better. It didn't seem to do anything more than the plain toilet bowl cleaners I get at dollar stores. Maybe it does better with rust stains or whatever else, I don't know.

I don't recommend for medical use, more for recreational purposes

The segments fit together loosely so it clatters and wobbles as you walk, the handle is light-gauge plastic. The foot is not pliable rubber, its closer to a hard plastic so it slips easily on hard slick surfaces like granite tile. The aluminum seems ok but already has scratches in the paint. If the elastic strap that runs up the inside holding the segments together breaks the cane would fall apart instantly. I bought it for a sprained knee but I'm unsure of it and don't know how well it will hold up, but this cane is advertised here mainly for recreational purposes so for the low price it might be good enough for most people.
