Almost 5 Stars, Why?...
5 of 5 found this helpful After comparing many options the reviews all said great things about this machine. I have sewn by hand all my life, decided it was time to man up.
As a newbie I was a bit apprehensive. I found a a series of videos through Sewing Mastery for this model, watched each one before I opened the box and everything looked familiar and relatively easy - even threading the needle.
Why one star short of 5? The box arrived with a big "factory reconditioned" sticker on it. I thought I was buying new. Maybe there was tiny font somewhere, but I don't recall it. I felt a little like I was experienced a bait and switch.
