Basic and functional. Easy to install.
After looking online at many partitions for my new to me 2014 Ford Transit Connect, I decided on this Weather Guard unit. It appeared to be the most substantial at this price point.
The design is similar to many other partitions, but this was the only one at this price point that offered the plexi-glass window.
The sheet metal is relatively light weight, while still being substantial enough to protect the driver and passenger. When the three main sections are assembled, it is a rigid unit.
The installation instructions were easy to read and follow. There is very little alteration to the vehicle. Just enlarging four hole that are already there. Just about everything lined up well. There weren't really any surprises. Taking my time, the install took less than two hours. It really could probably be done in less than an hour.
The unit looks decent, is stable, and does a good job of muffling road noise. The only two issues I can think of are, there are two brackets that attach to the A pillers that didn't line up with the pre existing holes. I had to bend the brackets to line them up. Also, the plexi-glass makes a squeeking noise while driving, especially when it's cold in the van.
Overall, I believe that this is a good product, and I would recommend it.

Handy little pipe vise
1 of 1 found this helpful Plumbers know the Ridgid name. We know that you are going to get a quality product. This chain vise stand is a quality product. It is small. It only goes up to 2 1/2 in pipe. It's great for small jobs. If you're only cutting a couple piece of pipe, or are doing some prefab, this vise will be handy. It's relatively light weight, is easy to carry, with it's leg lock and handle, and stores easily. I choose this model because I felt it would fit best in the small van that I'm currently driving. If you're one of the people out there doing service type work, perhaps in a small vehicle, and are in need of a pipe vise, I recommend this Ridgid Tristand chain vise stand.
