Great little fan
I used one of these in my small custom-made NAS4FREE device to provide some extra cooling in a tight space and this fan did the job well. I had my first one installed and running constantly for over 5 years. It may not be the quietest fan as you can hear it especially when it powers up for the first few minutes, but I really don't mind as it does the job well.
I took my case apart after 5 years and replaced the fan with a new one to ensure optimal cooling. The fan was still operating and I've cleaned the dust off and saved it for a backup. My WD green hard drives ran perfectly for over 5 years as well so to me that's an indication that the fan was keeping things adequately cool. When replacing the fan with a new one, I also installed WD red NAS drives and plan to keep this setup for another 5 years. I'd highly recommend this for anything desiring reliability and who doesn't care about a little extra white noise.

The physical build quality appears to be...
The physical build quality appears to be better than other brands. The on screen menu is very minimalistic which is actually nice because it is not filled with bloat. Its able to browse USB and my local network for DLNA media servers which I use frequently. It produces great video from Blu-ray discs and the motor is very quiet. I haven't used it much yet, but at first appearance, I am very impressed with the quality. The device feels way more solid in its construction compared to my old player.
