Good for film techno-geeks and other serious photographers
This Photo Lab Index has relevant inforrmaiton on photographic paper, film, etc as of 1977. Some of the information will still be relevant today, if you shoot film and tend to dive into more and more specific aspects of the chemistry and physics of film photography, you will find it interesting and useful. It is a good reference for processes, techniques, and the general makeup of photographic emulsions, some of which are still produced today. I wouldn't recommend it, however, if you get bored with the technical aspects of film photography and you aren't interested in some of the recent history of film, paper and those technical aspects of photography in general. I use it as a reference.
