Great investment
Although it arrived with a broken hose fitting, this pump is a better value than the cartridge style filter most above ground pools come with. The original pump requires that you change the cartridge at least every 2 weeks (really every week). This filter requires a simple back flush once a month and new sand every 3 years. Less hassle and cleaner water make this an easy decision plus after the first year of not having to buy cartridges, ithe savings start adding up. Set up is a breeze. Depending on the size of your current hoses, you will have to buy a few adapters.
