Very informative book! A "Must Read" for fact seekers!
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this book because I've always thought the "Manmade" global warming theory was flawed. This book give the reader many resources to examine to make an informed decision of their own. The message is repeated throughout the book, sometimes too often, but I understand the frustration the author is dealing with. I believe anyone who likes to hear both sides of an issue should read this book to see if they still believe the temperature of the entire Earth is controlled by mans actions alone or if we are but a small part in a much more complex system that has been varying Earth's temperatures since long before we had an Industrial Revolution.

Great Little Gadget
I've owned several Speedy Sharps for quite a few years and I'm still impressed with the ease and speed they provide. The edge that is produced is not the same as if I were to use a stone but works WONDERFULLY for skinning and butchering tasks. Hope to never be without a few of these handy sharpeners! I keep one in my truck, one in the kitchen, one in the shop, and have given dozens as gifts! Everyone who tries them loves them! Give them a try!

Great resource for old time skills
Great book for the skills that used to be common knowledge. Most readers will find some information that they already knew, but a lot more that they didn't. This book covers a vast array of homestead-based topics including livestock care, gardening, cooking, sheds, etc.,etc. I have a copy of my own and have purchased copies as gifts for others in my family. I wish every book I bought would be as useful as this book! I refer to it often with question of my own and for others. There's so much information in this book that I find something new every time I open it. I highly recommend this book!
