3 of 3 found this helpful This set of 3 videos contains the whole series with Joan Hickson. She plays a wonderful Jane Marple. In fact, every segment includes beautifully cast members. I love this "time period" and the scenery, props, locations are phenomenal. Contains subtitles, but they don't necessarily follow what is being said exactly. In addition, although there are duplicates from other Miss Marples, these hold up on their own and were very entertaining. I highly recommend them. Curl up on the couch, get some hot tea, and enjoy.

Excellent, but wish they had subtitles.
2 of 2 found this helpful I love the Miss Marple series and bring them out whenever I want to not worry about all the vulgarities that our present Hollywood feels we must have to make a show "entertaining." Some of these are better than others in their directing and dialogue, but it always comes together in the end. I really wish this set offered subtitles like some of the other series do, because I hate missing a clue when someone is whispering or mumbling. I really recommend this set and i especially love Geraldine McEwen as Miss Marple. Love her outfits and those adorable hats!!
