Hard to Find Wood Grips = Sig Sauer P230
Okay, these very expensive (now rare Rosewood?) wood grips are well made. But the Rosewoods don't look any better in my opinion than the somewhat less expensive walnut or other 'fancy exotic' wood grips. I do like the Hogue's checkered cut pattern. Too bad Sig Sauer no longer produces wood grips for this discontinued pistol model as they might be less expensive or look even better in plain good old walnut. Anyhow, I recommend one look around before spending the big bucks.

Good Beretta Factory Wood Grips
4 of 4 found this helpful These are Beretta factory grips for the Model 92FS. There seem to be 2 types of factory wood grips, presumably all are walnut. Be sure you find the best price as some sellers add a premium. Beretta website might offer best prices? The grips mounted easily, fit well, look fine & are well made. There are other grip makers out there but I prefer to keep things factory original when possible. Some other brands cost less, some cost more.

KYB Gas-A-Just Shocks
Nice KYB shocks via eBay at about half regular price. Their diameter is a bit less than what was on my vehicle but presumably these KYB's are a better design. The hard part was removing the old rusted shocks. Installation of the KYB's was easier. I managed all this in my driveway using jacks, my old hand tools & elbow grease and while sliding under the vehicle. Not a fun project but it saved me shop labor costs. Vehicle seemed to have better ride quality after install, not softer but better control & sense of security while navigating turns.
