The way of the superior man by Deida
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a well concieved compliment to the author's other efforts, and offers some remarkable insights into the way a lot of women feel, and think. He has the insight to qualify the type of men he feels would be receptive to his interpretations, and that was a good idea since this book probably applies to the majority of men, and they are well served to adhere to the advice as it is given. The popular symbology of the day indicates Men are from Mars, and Women are from Venus, and in a somewhat esoteric way this book travels along those lines refraining from any abstract mention of natives from Mercury. having said that let it suffice to say it's an interesting well concieved book, worth the price, and I have already passed it on to several male friends to read..and that speaks for itself.

Powder is a fitting name for the main subject of the movie in the sense that people tend to judge a book by its cover
uses a relative symbology to typify the pitfalls of the human condition in stark detail and hopefully encourages a greater understanding and appreciation for civility.

The mayor....
We are fortunate in having his words available regarding all that happened during those years of the 'great folk scare' and the diverse array of talented unique people who were a part of the scene. It was a special time never to be replicated again....Dave writes with an amazing clarity of those times and with a sterling sense of humor and insight not only into the lives and times but also his own strengths and weaknesses
