Alot of bang for the buck!
This meter is very similar to an FTA receiver in its use and software. I was able to zero in on a bird and view a transmission the first time I used it. It is not for a beginner as the use is only slightly intuitive but in time I will be able to do what I want with it once I get used to the operation. One possible problem is that the display is hard to see in daylight. I got around this by shading the display with my hat and using magnifier goggles so I could read the menus. Yesterday I zeroed in on another satellite and was able to peak the dish to it. All in all I am happy with this meter and it gives ALOT of bang for the buck!

Better than i expected!
I had this up and running in a few minutes. The set up and user interface are very intuitive. I did read the instructions later and found that with a USB stick I can record programs on it and also play other videos like you tube that I loaded onto the usb stick. The unit comes with HDMI cable, TWO remotes, instructions and other goodies. The image quality is great; I have never had HD video on C-band before and it was quite a step up from what I had been used to. The blind scan function saves me having to manually set up each channel and it came with North American satellites pre-loaded. I would buy another one of these without hesitation. Considering what I paid this was way more than what I expected. (Note that I have set up satellite boxes before so I do already know most of the basics.)
