1830's modeling
Although out of production for over 30 years, the add-on coaches for the Prussia really add a measure of realism for anyone modeling the 1830's. The engine looks much better pulling a string of five instead of three coaches.

Workhorse for your layout.
Varney's "Old Lady" consolidation locomotive is a smooth running model with none of the fiddly electronic computer boards to gum up the works. Solid electrical contacts and plenty of weight all around make it a reliable power unit for dragging cars around the layout at scale speeds.

Essential equipment for driving vintage cars.
Lots of accurate details. Elevation contour lines are extremely light and hard to read. Pages cannot be cut out and glued to make a larger map because they are printed on both sides. Useful for finding back roads and avoiding traffic on busy weekends. Essential for driving a Model T in Michigan.
